Green face clay: use

Among the many brands and skin care products they offer, you often forget about the formulations that nature gave you in its purest form. AND clay – among those wonderful and affordable substances that have long been used for cleansing face and body.

Since there are several types of clay, different types are suitable for each individual skin type… Their effectiveness is expressed in the fact that they deeply cleanse each pore, thoroughly remove impurities, making face fresh, even, smooth, toned and radiant.

Why exactly green clay?

Because in the summer, the skin is especially susceptible to various negative factors: sunlight, sweat, more sebum is released, you wash your face more often, and all this irritates your face quite strongly. And the magic solution to these problems lies in green clay.

It is the purest natural mineral, which naturally forms during the decomposition of volcanic rocks. He is rich calcium, zinc, magnesium, aluminum, copper and phosphorus, and especially silicon – this combination of ingredients has a beneficial effect on your health and is suitable for problem and combination skin.

Green clay has an excellent absorbency, penetrates deep into pores and draws impurities to the surface, therefore it has long been recognized as a powerful ally in the treatment of oily acne-prone skin. Plus, it softens skin, tones and tightens enlarged pores, and acts as a natural exfoliant when you wash it off your face.

Before applying the green clay mask, wash yourself. If you have pimples, it is best to “steam” the skin to open the pores and then apply the mask.

You should not keep it for too long, and when it dries, it will be enough to leave it on your face for five minutes, and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. It is recommended to carry out this procedure once or twice a week.

Green clay works in three stages

While the mixture is wet, the skin will absorb minerals from the green clay.

When the composition begins to dry out, it stimulates blood circulation in the surface layer of the skin and small capillaries.

After complete drying, the clay pulls dirt to the surface, removes moisture and excess sebum.

Many companies sell ready-made products, but it is more practical to use clay in powder form, which can be purchased at any pharmacy or large supermarket.

In a wooden or glass bowl, mix the clay powder with herbal tea, chamomile, or mint (for a thick paste) and apply evenly to the face and neck, avoiding the eye and mouth area. After ten minutes, the composition will dry, wait another 5 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

If you have sore skin and acne, you can add a few drops of lavender oil and a tablespoon of aloe vera gel to the mixture to reduce inflammation and soothe your skin.
